Form Autosave

Never lose a long form again.

This extension makes no network requests at all. Nothing you do with it leaves your computer, because there is nowhere for it to go.

What it keeps

What you type into forms, so it can be put back after a crash or a timeout. This is the most sensitive thing anything in this portfolio keeps, so here is exactly what is and is not included.
It is stored against the page address without its query string — so session tokens in the address are never saved.
Drafts older than 30 days are deleted automatically.

Anything saved is kept in your browser’s own extension storage on this device, using chrome.storage.local.

What it never saves

Password fields. Never, under any circumstances.

Payment card fields — card number, expiry, security code, cardholder name.

Any field the site marks private. If a site sets autocomplete="off", we honour it and skip the field, even though that costs us coverage on sites that set it carelessly. The site’s instruction wins over our convenience.

Hidden fields, file uploads, and anything whose name looks like a security code, national insurance or social security number, bank routing number, IBAN or passport number.

That last check deliberately over-excludes: it will skip fields that were harmless. A field we miss costs you a retype. A field we should not have kept is a much worse problem.

What leaves your computer

Nothing. The extension contains no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Nothing is sold, rented or shared. There is no third party to share it with.

<all_urls>	A form is only worth rescuing if it was being saved while you typed — which means before you knew you would need it. There is no click we could wait for.

Your data, your machine

There is no account, no sign-up and no login. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. You can also clear it yourself from the extension’s options at any time.

Because nothing is transmitted, there is no copy of anything on any server for us to hand over, lose, or be asked for. That is a deliberate design choice, not an oversight.

Paid features

There are none today — every feature is free, and no payment code runs. If a paid tier is added later, payment would be handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe, who would receive your email and payment details directly. This page will be updated before that happens, not after.

Children

This extension is a professional tool and is not directed at children. It collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If what the extension does changes, this page changes first. Every claim here is generated from a single facts file that is kept beside the code, so the two cannot quietly drift apart. The history of this page is public in the repository linked below.
