Type a short trigger, get the whole paragraph.

This extension makes no network requests at all. Nothing you do with it leaves your computer, because there is nowhere for it to go.

What it keeps

The snippets you create: the trigger and the text it expands into. That is all — they are your words, written by you.

Anything saved is kept in your browser’s own extension storage on this device, using chrome.storage.local.

What it sees while you type

To expand a trigger, the extension has to watch what you type into text boxes. This is worth being blunt about, because it is the obvious question.

It compares the characters immediately before your cursor against your own list of triggers. If there is no match — which is almost always — nothing happens and nothing is kept.

It never stores what you type, never sends it anywhere, and never builds any record of it.

It does not run in password fields at all. Password boxes are excluded outright, and so are card, number and date fields.

What leaves your computer

Nothing. The extension contains no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Nothing is sold, rented or shared. There is no third party to share it with.

<all_urls>	A text expander that only worked on some sites would not be a text expander. It has to be present in whatever box you happen to be typing in, on the first keystroke, without you clicking anything first.

Your data, your machine

There is no account, no sign-up and no login. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. You can also clear it yourself from the extension’s options at any time.

Because nothing is transmitted, there is no copy of anything on any server for us to hand over, lose, or be asked for. That is a deliberate design choice, not an oversight.

Paid features

There are none today — every feature is free, and no payment code runs. If a paid tier is added later, payment would be handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe, who would receive your email and payment details directly. This page will be updated before that happens, not after.

Children

This extension is a professional tool and is not directed at children. It collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If what the extension does changes, this page changes first. Every claim here is generated from a single facts file that is kept beside the code, so the two cannot quietly drift apart. The history of this page is public in the repository linked below.
